1.Place within the organization

Responsible for developing and executing all CWD Programs which include implementing quality program activities in 6 Special Schools Units, Occupational Therapy Services and other CWD services that we can deliver with our partner organisations from government and other specialised organisations. As a member of the Management Team and advisor of the director on matters CWD you add value.

2.Reporting to

  • Reporting direct to the Director of KidsCare.

3. Brief Summary of the Role

  • As the manager CWD Programs, your role is to act as a responsible leader for the development, execution, monitoring & evaluation of the program activities and other CDW services.
  • To deliver complete and on the individual child oriented CDW services you work close together with (possible) partners of the government and other specialistic partners.
  • To supervise and organize the CWD program activities and ensure that all the projects goals are aligned with the long term organization’s objectives and strategy. Therefore you must be an experienced (Project)Manager, pro-actively responsible for the  organization of all the activities for the CWD programs and services.
  • You will be taking initiatives to maintain and increase the network of (potential) financial partners and donor organisations and you will also be taking part in developing budgets and operating plans for the CWD programs well as actively taking part in funding and proposals writing.
  • You must be a team player in cooperation with the directors and staff. Especially you are an inspiring leader to your team and to the other managers in our KidsCare organisation.
  • It is your Responsibility is to ensure that all CWD planned activities are delivered timely effective, efficiently and with a quality desirable outcome to our organization.

4.Job content / Specific Responsibilities

  • Directly Responsible for CWD Program and Services from strategic level to realizing the intended results and impact.
  • Provides strategic planning of the departmental programs/projects goals, objectives and activities to align with the organization's overall goal.
  • Quality assurance: Implementing quality standards and guidelines in compliance with regulations and organizational goals.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of CWD services and initiating improvements.
  • Vision development: Develop, maintain and work in line with the vision 2030 for the department
  • Grant Writing and Proposals: Develop persuasive grant tailored proposals.
  • Seek funding from diverse sources, including government agencies and foundations.
  • Financial Management: Preparing and managing budgets in line with organizational goals, Monitoring financial reports and collaborating with the finance department to meet financial
  • objecties.
  • Partnership Building: Building and maintaining partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including government, special schools and other CWD organisations. Also with potential funders, including donors, philanthropic organizations, and corporate sponsors. Seek financial commitments and collaborative partnerships.
  • Personal Management: directing and motivating the team within the CWD departement
  • Developing and implementing HR policies like training, evaluation, recruitment. Ensuring a positive work environment and resolving personnel-related issues.
  • Creating Awareness Events: Organize awareness events to highlight program achievements, community needs, and the impact of their initiatives.
  • Raise public awareness to garner support and interest from potential donors.

    Research Initiatives: Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities, innovative approaches, and best practices in the field.

  • Stay informed about evolving trends and potential sources of financial support.
  • Corporate Engagement: Develop partnerships with corporate entities, negotiate sponsorships, and engage in cause-related marketing efforts to secure financial backing and support for their programs.
  • Grants, Sponsorships, and Donor Cultivation: Apply for grants, seek sponsorships, and maintain relationships with individual donors.
  • Provide regular updates, express gratitude, and encourage ongoing support.
  • Facilitate communication between the department and other organizational units within the organization.
  • Collaborate with other department to achieve cross-functional goals.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of the department against key performance indicators.

5.Job profile /Requirements

Motivated by heart to help Children With Disabilities Relevant Bachelor degree or master degree. 5 years proven experience, to prefer in organisations for Children With Disabilities. Proven stakeholder management skills. Proven experience managing a team. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Outstanding leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving ability and resilience under pressure The CWD Manager continuously stays informed about developments in the youth care and is willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
