The Sites Manager is responsible for all operations at the two Homa Bay sites, ensuring the smooth functioning of activities related to smallholder farmers, produce management, staff coordination, compliance with SOPs, and data collection. The Sites Manager ensures that everything runs smoothly, ensuring success of the business and the farmers.

  • Minimum Qualification :Bachelors
  • Experience Level :Senior level
  • Experience Length :3 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all activities at the agricultural site, ensuring efficient operations and a productive environment.

• Farmer Engagement: Ensure the production team conducts regular visits to smallholder farmers, building strong relationships and addressing their needs and concerns.

• Produce Grading: Oversee the grading and quality control of agricultural produce, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

• Staff Coordination: Develop and manage schedules for all site staff, ensuring adequate coverage and performance of duties.

• Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting.

• Financial Oversight: Monitor and facilitate timely payments to farmers and staff.

• Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and best practices in agricultural operations.

• Performance Monitoring: Set performance goals for the team, provide guidance, and conduct regular evaluations to foster professional growth

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in agricultural management or a related field, preferably with smallholder farmers.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.

• Commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and community development.

• A relentless commitment to operational excellence.
