    • Our client, a reputable and busy hospital dedicated to providing quality healthcare services, is seeking to hire a Human Resource Officer to join their team. This role is key in ensuring operational efficiency and effective HR service delivery across departments in the hospital.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with hospital goals and compliance requirements.
    • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
    • Maintain accurate employee records including contracts, leave, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and assist in workforce planning.
    • Support the execution of training and development programs to build staff capacity.
    • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in line with hospital procedures and labor laws.
    • Monitor HR metrics such as staff turnover, absenteeism, and recommend improvements.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, and other labor regulations.
    • Coordinate employee wellness and engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
    • Prepare HR reports and provide regular updates to management on key HR indicators.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 3–5 years of HR experience in a busy hospital or healthcare environment.
    • Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
    • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office Suite.
