    • The Human Resource Management Professionals Examinations Board (HRMPEB) was established under sec 16 of the Human Resource Management Professionals Act, 2012. Its functions and powers include;
    • Prescribing and regulating syllabuses of instruction for human resource management professional examinations;
    • Preparing and conducting examinations for persons seeking registration under the Act;
    • Making rules in respect to examinations;
    • Prescribing the fees and other charges payable with respect to such examinations;
    • Issuing certificates to candidates who have satisfied examinations requirements;
    • Issuing professional qualifying certificates and other awards to candidates who have satisfied examination requirements
    • Investigating and determining cases involving indiscipline of students registered with the Examination Board;
    • Promoting recognition of its examinations locally and internationally
    • The Board is seeking to recruit a highly competent, proactive and self-driven individual to fill the position of Human Resource Management Officer, Grade 5

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail:
    • Processing staff Recruitment, deployment, promotions and transfers;
    • Processing disciplinary cases;
    • Compiling agenda and minutes for Management Human Resource Advisory Committee;
    • Administering employee welfare programmes;
    • Processing salary, retirement benefits, medical claims, Group Personal Accidents and
    • Group Life schemes;
    • Maintaining an up-to-date employees’ list;
    • Updating employees’ files as need be;
    • Processing of leave applications;
    • Verifying and updating staff compliment and establishment;
    • Developing and implementing human resource management system (HRIS);
    • Developing training needs for staff of the Board; and
    • Preparing training projections and implementing training programmes.

    For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
    • Proficiency in computer applications skills;
    • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
