We are seeking a seasoned Human Resource Manager to lead our HR initiatives and manage our sales teams both on-site and in the field. With approximately 10 years of experience in the FMCG sector, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Performance: Lead efforts to enhance team performance through effective goal setting, regular evaluations, and performance management strategies.

• HR Audit: Conduct a comprehensive HR audit as the first order of business to assess current practices,revenue per employee, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.

• Reporting Structure & HR Manual: Develop and implement a clear reporting structure and create an HR manual that outlines policies and procedures for the organization.

• Dispute Resolution: Address and mediate employee disputes effectively, fostering a harmonious workplace environment.

• Policy Development: Create and enforce HR policies that promote a positive workplace culture and comply with labor laws and regulations.

• Payroll Preparation: Oversee payroll preparation to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees.

• Team Management: Oversee and manage the performance of sales teams, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and morale.

• Recruitment and Staffing: Take charge of the hiring process, from identifying talent needs to interviewing and onboarding new employees. Demonstrated ability to make decisive hiring and termination decisions is crucial.

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Board and CEO to align HR strategies with organizational goals, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

• Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and facilitate resolutions, ensuring a harmonious workplace culture.

• Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on the FMCG sector.

• Proven track record of managing diverse teams and driving performance.

• Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Authoritative leadership style with the ability to make tough decisions when necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.

Candidate must be willing to relocate to Machakos County
