Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Human Resource Officer to manage and support HR operations effectively. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a strong understanding of Kenyan labor laws and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

○       Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and selection.

○       Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs.

  1. Employee Relations:

○       Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

○       Mediate disputes and promote effective communication within the organization.

  1. Compliance & Records Management:

○       Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and company policies.

○       Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

  1. Performance Management:

○       Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.

○       Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.

  1. Training & Development:

○       Identify staff training needs and coordinate relevant training programs.

○       Promote employee growth and development initiatives.

  1. Payroll & Benefits Administration:

○       Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payroll processing.

○       Manage employee benefits programs and statutory contributions.

  1. HR Policy Development:

○       Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.

○       Ensure effective communication of policies to all employees.

Qualifications & Skills

●       Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

●       A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a human resource role.

●       Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).

●       Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.

●       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

●       Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

●       High level of confidentiality and integrity.
