The key responsibilities for the position;
- Conducting onsite and offsite inspection activities in accordance with risk-based supervision methodologies and approved plans and prepare reports;
- Assisting in conducting risk profiling activities for regulated persons and prepare reports;
- Providing guidance to market intermediaries on compliance practices through liaison with the relevant compliance, risk management and internal audit staff to promulgate strong internal control and compliance environments;
- Implementing relationship management policy for regulated persons;
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date and detailed electronic information data-base for regulated persons and periodically perform trend analysis;
- Conducting research on best practices on market supervision including AML/CFT practices;
- Implementing quality management systems and continuously identifying and managing risks; and
- Undertaking any other responsibilities as and when assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, Business or relevant field;
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook express including financial and statistical packages; and
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience will be an added advantage.

TEMPORARY OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR- DIRECTORATE OF CORPORATION SECRETARY AND LEGAL AFFAIRS- 1 POSITION
Contract Period: Six (6) Months Fixed Term Contract
Reporting to the Director Corporation Secretary and Legal Affairs the selected candidate will be responsible for;
- Providing planning and logistical support to the directorate;
- Undertaking administrative and support duties including mailing, scanning, and copying to all the functions within the directorate;
- Preparing and formatting documents including correspondence, schedules, reports, drafts, memos, and emails;
- Documenting management including referencing, filing, and maintaining document movement registers among others;
- Providing administrative support to the directorate meetings, maintaining departmental leave and working schedules, and scheduling appointments among others;
- Ensuring cleanliness of the directorate offices is maintained and liaising with ICT to ensure all the directorate office equipment are serviceable;
- Requisitioning of office supplies from the stores, allocating as appropriate, and mintaining records;
- Reporting on the serviceability of directorate facilities, equipment, fixtures, and fittings;
- Answering calls on behalf of the director, as well as responding to other inquiries and coordinating internal and external communication in the directorate;
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the director; and
- Performs any other duties assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Business Management, or business-related degree;
- Computer Literate; and
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience will be an added advantage
