Job description
Enlighten Finance seeks a dynamic and results-orientated loan officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in recruiting eligible clients, analyzing loan applications, and ensuring the provision of quality loans that maximize company profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit qualified clients through marketing and sales processes.
- Analyse loan applications to ensure compliance with Enlighten credit policies and credit analysis standards.
- Prepare and conduct due diligence for loan applications in line with Enlighten credit policies.
- Meet performance targets for loan portfolio growth and profitability.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports, including delinquency and risk reports.
- Ensure effective loan recovery with support from the recovery department.
- Promote the Enlighten brand and values through excellent customer service and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Manage portfolio with less than 5% NPL
- Ensure no migration to grade 40.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A diploma or certificate in business management or a related field
- At least two years of experience in microfinance or credit finances.
- Proficiency in lending, marketing, and financial analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent report-writing skills and attention to detail.
- Result-driven and self-motivated with the ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in computer applications is an added advantage.
- At least two years of experience of working in Pwani region and Kigamboni district is an added advantage
