We seek a highly motivated and experienced Medical Provider Liaison/Relationship Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals and doctors, securing contracts, and ensuring smooth collaboration to facilitate our mission of affordable healthcare access.

  •  Identify and engage potential hospitals and doctors for partnership opportunities.
  •  Negotiate and execute contracts with healthcare providers, ensuring favourable terms for Accord Managed Care and our clients.
  •  Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing provider networks, addressing their concerns and fostering collaboration.
  •  Act as the primary point of contact for providers, resolving queries and ensuring seamless communication between providers and Accord Managed Care.
  •  Monitor provider performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
  •  Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in healthcare regulations.
  •  Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance) to ensure efficient service delivery.
  •  Prepare and submit regular reports on provider engagement, contract status, and relationship management activities.
  •  Contribute to developing and implementing strategies to expand our provider network.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health).
  •  Proven experience in provider relations, contract negotiation, or healthcare sales, preferably within the managed care industry.
  •  Strong understanding of healthcare systems, provider networks, and contract negotiation principles.
  •  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  •  Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  •  Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  •  Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds (particularly in East Africa) is advantageous.
