    Job Purpose:

    • We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Move Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to clients throughout their moving and relocation process. This role involves assessing clients' needs, providing tailored moving solutions, and ensuring that each move is executed with the highest level of service and efficiency.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct detailed consultations with clients to understand their moving needs, preferences, and timelines
    • Provide cost estimates for moving and relocations services based on factors such as distance, volume, special requirements, and timings
    • Coordinate with internal team and external partners to ensure smooth execution of moves
    • Raise booking orders keenly and on time while ensuring adherence with company productivity guidelines
    • Conduct team briefing to ensure movers have the right resources, well groomed and update them about the client needs and preferences
    • Offer ongoing support to clients during the moving process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
    • Quickly resolve any complications or delays during the move to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Carefully listen to client requirements and advise them accordingly regarding the Company's service offering custom made to suit their need
    • Advise clients accordingly of the Company's billing policies and ensure that they are billed properly
    • Positively engage & connect with clients whether online, via email, on phone or in person with a view to offering them true solutions that will be of value to them
    • Handle online/virtual client surveys and send quotations to the clients in a timely manner
    • Prepare and conduct presentations to potential clients with the view of providing them with Company services
    • Meet all monthly, quarterly and annual targets set by the company in terms of revenue growth
    • Attend and conduct physical surveys at client premises in line with the Nellions guidelines which broadly demand that strict time keeping, being smartly dressed, adequate preparation, among other things
    • Attend moves regularly to stay in touch with what is happening on the ground and specifically if the Nellions Movers are delivering on the company promise of "Fine Moving"
    • As a custodian of the pre-move assessment SOP, propose amendments and changes to the SOP for consideration from time to time.
    • Liaise and forge a strong relationship with caretakers to ensure that Nellions gets a consistent sales stream from caretaker generated leads
    • Do demand creation activities physically (e.g. attending exhibitions, visiting buildings, new sites, personal contacts and digitally (social media) as well as prospecting for new business

    Person Specification

    • A Diploma/Degree in a business-related field from a recognized university
    • A minimum of two years' experience in moving and relocations, logistics and transportation, insurance, customer service and sales, warehousing and supply chain, or tourism and hospitality
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills
    • Attentive to details
    • Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills
    • Problem management skills and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to meet strict deadline
