Waridi Children’s Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in providing high-quality nursing care to children. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of pediatric conditions as well as educating families on their child’s care.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, register, record and document children’s’ information and present the same to the doctors at the facility.
- Provide nursing services and care to children in the medical centre.
- Identify changes in a child’s signs and symptoms and intervene in emergent situations
- Serve as a child advocate
- Determine a child’s needs related to pain management
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of clinical areas in the medical centre.
- Administer medication to children in the facility as prescribed by doctors in the facility.
- Administer patient care and nursing to outpatients in the medical centre.
- Liaise with other healthcare staff in handling children with medical conditions in the units in the medical centre.
Minimum Academic Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid Practice License.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
