Senior Structural Engineer

- We are seeking to recruit a Snr. Structural Engineer who will be in charge of enriching the company’s engineering department with relevant civil & structural engineering key points in the areas of design, detailing & site supervision. The knowledge, skill and experience will embolden and grow the team members through sharing of experience with other stakeholders at the department as well as the company.
Required profile for the job:
- Minimum B.Sc. Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior position as a structural engineer in a steel fabrication industry;
- In-depth experience in site monitoring, quality, specification control and checks for ultimate sign off of structural elements;
- Good communication, leadership, knowledge and data-based decision making & reporting;
- Be conversant with Engineering software’s i.e., AutoCAD, Prokon, STAAD
- Review and supervise material/resources quantities
- Review contractor’s payment certificates including compilation, preparation of payment certificates & reports in accordance with contract requirements
- Ability to manage labor sub-contractors in work allocation and site supervision;
- Willingness to go the extra mile to get the work excocted.
- In depth experience working with Local, National Government & State Agencies especially Kenya Roads Authorities will be an added advantage
