Duties and Responsibilities at this level entail:
- Communicate and enforce computer laboratory policies to all laboratory users;
- Maintain security of the software and equipment in the laboratories;
- Maintain laboratory computer software and hardware according to an approved maintenance schedule;
- Install software and hardware as directed in conformance to the university ICT policies;
- Obtain fixes to software and hardware problems guided by the laid-down policies and procedures;
- Communicate laboratory problems to the CoD, Dean, and other affected personnel; and
- Maintain currency in the use of all software and hardware products used in the laboratory.
