General Objective:
The role will be responsible for overseeing our data systems and reporting frameworks, guaranteeing the integrity and precision of data. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which will then be analysed to glean insights that drive strategic decision making in business.
Reporting: This role reports to the Head of Sales Operations & Business Planning
Principal Accountabilities:
Data Quality and Integrity
- Ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions
- Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors
Collecting Data from Various Source
- Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party sources and ensure the upkeep of databases and data systems.
Developing and Supporting Reporting Processes
- Create and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements
Developing Automated Processes for Data Scraping
- Design scripts and tools to automatically extract large volumes of from different sources for improving efficiency and availability.
Interpret Data
- Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets
- Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights
- Your analysis will help extract meaningful insights and trends, which can then inform business decisions and strategies
- Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments
Performs Complex Analyses
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights
Maintaining Databases
- You will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing and updating databases to ensure they are secure, accessible, and functioning properly. Your role is crucial in supporting ongoing data storage and retrieval needs.
Collaboration
- Coordinate data needs cross functionally to align business and informational priorities
Qualification & Experience required:
Education requirements: Minimum B plain KCSE; A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Statistics, or any other related discipline
Work Experience: at least Two (2) year experience in any industry (FMCG will be an added advantage)
Technical Skills: Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with visualization tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau etc. and data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
- Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
- Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background

Assistant Warehouse Manager- Job TypeFull Time

Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for managing warehousing operations that involve monitoring and evaluating warehouse and operations and control systems comprising stock control, security and delivery of high service levels.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to Customer Service and Logistics Manager
- Direct reports are the stores clerks and outsourced store staff.
- Peer is Warehouse assistant
Dimensions:
- The position is responsible for achievement of high customer service levels target 98%
- Stores damages at target of Kshs. 10k
- Direct reports (Clerks and Forklift Driver)
- Direct report (Outsourced Staff)
- 3rd party transporters
Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage stores operations of receipts, arranging, picking, dispatching, cleaning etc.
- Generating daily, weekly and monthly stores reports for presentation to the management
- Manage the flow of information between the management and the stores’ function.
- Daily stores work plan and general organization of labour and resources (forklifts, trolleys, vacuum cleaner etc) to execute the plan.
- Liaise with distribution to ensure that invoices are received on time and routing is done ASAP
- Manage the weekly and monthly stock take process and resolving of any dispute that may arise. Fully responsible for the stock in the warehouse.
- Ensuring all record related checks are properly done and well maintained.
- Carry out a daily inspection of the store and address all the outstanding issues and oversee any progress required
- Liaise with the Customer Service Manager to ensure that the vehicles arrive on time and as planned.
- Ensure that all stocks related transactions are within procedure, correct and all the documentation is timely and correct.
- Ensure that all the relevant documents are checked / authorized, and any issues reported on time to the relevant authority.
- Follow the stipulated procedures to see that all the products are dispatched on time.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:
Qualification:
- A Diploma in any Science / Business Administration or equivalent business diploma.
- 3 + years of well-rounded Warehouse management experience gained in a diverse, FMCG organization noted for employing leading edge supply chain practices and demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in the best (global supply chain) practices.
