Our client is a Technology Training institution based in Nairobi, Kenya. They seek to recruit a highly skilled, results driven and strategic Virtual Learning Lead who is passionate and has hands on experience working with Technology Programs, Higher Level Learning Institutions including Universities and TVET, to drive Strategy, Training, Mentorship, Campaigns, Communities and Virtual Learning Program activities.

Technical Skills:
Experience with Program management, digitally savvy, experience managing a team, experience working in a training environment with practical curriculum delivery, prior experience working in large projects or with a large company etc. will be an added benefit.
Responsibilities:
- Planning the overall Virtual Training Program including Technology Trainings for youth, Boot camps and monitoring progress to achieve the minimum monthly Training Targets.
- Drive Publicity, Mobilization and Partnerships building for Virtual Learning to achieve a minimum Monthly Training target of Youth Trained from the Public Virtual Trainings.
- Ensuring high quality Trainings and a 90% completion rate for Youth undertaking the Tech Virtual Trainings/Mentorship.
- Ensuring high quality Content /Curriculum delivery of the Virtual Trainings/Activities and Coordinating awareness and partnerships for the Virtual Trainings.
- Support in conducting Training Meetings including Trainers’ Meetings to agree on Training structures and modalities and to understand their needs and recommendations to improve the Trainings.
- Planning and Coordinating the Monthly and Quarterly plans for the Virtual Training activities, Training Schedule/Calendar and Trainers’ Roster and ensure coordination and smooth running of Trainings.
- Planning and Coordinating the Technology Providers Programs, leading weekly meetings with the Trainers and representing the organization at Stakeholders Meetings.
- Planning and Coordinating Successful Campaigns for the Alumni Community, both ofline and online to ensure sustainability and impact of the Program through engagement of beneficiaries.
- Team leadership & support to the Trainers through check-ins, calls, visits, to ensure the Program meets its objectives and provide guidance to them on performance management and appraisals.
- Coordinate and collect feedback of the Virtual Training Program and assess needs &
- Recommendations from Training Evaluation Surveys and Focus Group Discussions and collection of Success Stories.
- Make recommendations for improvement of the Curriculum through the Curriculum Development Process.
- Prepare Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports on time.
- Develop and implement appropriate tools and ideas for continuous improvement of the Program including Curriculum Review to ensure adequate technical, soft and hard skills to Trainees for Impact.
- Coordinate and ensure smooth logistics for Training/Mentorship activities in Institutions including venues and equipment.
- Coordinate with the Trainers to develop Training aids such as Manuals and handbooks and motivate and map out Training/Mentorship plans for the Trainers.
- Design and apply assessment tools to measure Program effectiveness and Track and report on Training/Mentorship outcomes.
- Effectively communicate with Team members, Trainers and Management.
- Keep abreast of Education, ICT and digital trends, developments and best practices.
- Prepare Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports on time.
- Develop and implement appropriate tools and ideas for continuous improvement of the Program Implementation and Impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
- Experience in a Managing Trainings/Mentorship Programs; Technology trainings and Virtual
Training engagement in a related Role.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management and 6-10 years’ overall work experience.
- Experience with working in a Technology Company or a Training Institution is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of competency assessment.
