    Key responsibilities:

    • Leading and managing a team of sales representatives.

    We are seeking dedicated and professional Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock organization, shipping and receiving, while ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products from suppliers to customers.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Help with counting, sorting and organizing inventory to maintain accurate stock levels. Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
    • Retrieve items from shelves or storage areas according to pick lists or orders. Pack items securely for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, clearing debris and disposing of waste. Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
    • Effectively test the quality of the received electronic appliances to ensure zero rate of faulty stock received from the suppliers.
    • Support the shipping and receiving process by preparing shipments, labeling packages and coordinating with carriers. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or invoices and record any discrepancies.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Follow guidelines for the proper handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.
    • Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to prioritize tasks, coordinate workflows and meet operational goals. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth collaboration.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for efficiently handling customer. transactions in a courteous, friendly and professional manner. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth, accurate and secure cash-handling process while providing excellent customer service in line with HiHome Kenya's standards. The Cashier will also contribute to maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Accurately process customer purchases through cash, credit, debit and mobile payment systems.
    • Ensure correct item scanning and application of promotions, discounts and loyalty programs as applicable.
    • Safely and securely manage cash register, including cash balancing, making change and depositing cash according to company policy.
    • Provide prompt and friendly assistance to customers, answer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints related to billing or transactions.
    • Issue receipts, vouchers, or invoices to customers, ensuring all necessary details are accurate. Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate entry and reconciliation of transactions.
    • Keep the cashier station clean, organized and presentable at all times.
    • Ensure that all transactions are processed according to company security guidelines to prevent theft and fraud.

    Qualifications & Skills::

    • Previous experience as a cashier is preferred.
    • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Management, Accounting/Finance, CPA 1 or a related field.
    • Strong numeracy and cash handling skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to operate POS systems and basic office equipment.
    • Proficiency in using mobile money and electronic payment systems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
