Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
- Develop and innovate menu items in collaboration with the Management .
- Ensure all food preparation is carried out according to recipes and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff where necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
- Maintain portion control and minimize food wastage.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chinese Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen.
- Deep knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional flavors.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus.
- Basic understanding of kitchen financials, including food cost and inventory.
