Develop, implement and maintain sales operational excellence, policies and procedures including standard operating procedures

Develop and maintain relevant database of customers

Process project information and forward to field force

Ensure accurate information is recorded and quality checked

Create and analyse sales operational reports and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders

Agree on deliverables, scope and timelines with field managers

Provide input into planning for the business and develop plans and processes to ensure effective implementation

Provide input into establishing which resources are needed by using the most efficient and cost-effective method to achieve results that meet client objectives

Continually benchmark and optimise processes against best practice

Formulate a project plan to define and achieve project objectives

Monitor and check quality of work produced by field staff and take corrective action when necessary

Provide regular feedback to Business Unit Manager/Country Manager

Implement and manage sales projects when required

Account Management Alignment

Manage multiple clients as per our cluster/ regional client list

Ensure trade visit reports are reported every time in field to client and cluster executive

Demonstrate analytical planning and creativity for future client retention and development

Ensure detailed sales target control

Address and follow-up all customer queries and problems

Stay abreast of the market and competitors

Meet client/customer and company performance standards and ensure subordinates do likewise

Administration

Develop effective and efficient administrative systems

Submit reports to management and client

Document and manage expenditures

Ensure management of Smollan assets including HHT devices

Ensure compliance of set regulations between field team and distributor

Ensure incentives and necessary salary information is submitted on-time

Liaise with People department regarding all problems and enquiries relating to the payment of sales staff

Manage and maintain all Operations staff performance documents and scorecards accurately and within required deadlines

Ensure effective budget monitoring, specifically relating to:

Building and managing operating expenses, e.g., salaries, travel costs etc

Overseeing specific project budgets and accounting thereof

Budget Monitoring

Oversee specific sales project budgets and accounting thereof

Achievement of Set Sales & Distribution Objectives

Provide input into planning for the business and develop plans and processes to ensure effective implementation

Provide input into establishing which resources are needed by using the most efficient and cost-effective method to achieve set sales results that meet client objectives

Continually benchmark and optimise sales achievement processes against best practice

Formulate strategic sales distribution plans, programs and concepts and be involved in the execution of the route to market retail program

Ensure breakdown of weekly & monthly agreed sales targets and formal communication of the same

Ensure portfolio volume sales growth through demand creation

Monitor and check quality of work produced by field sales staff and take corrective action when necessary

Provide regular feedback to cluster executive

4-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Business experience in sales, marketing, project management, client and staff interaction, and organizational experience at management level.

Degree in sales & marketing
