    Reports to: Operations Director

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking to hire a strategic and people-driven Human Resource & Administration Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and nurturing a thriving workplace culture within the organization that fosters employee engagement, productivity and growth. The role will oversee strategic human functions and initiatives ensuring alignment with overall Company objectives while promoting a strong organizational culture that values diversity, respect & Human dignity.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and execute a forward-thinking people and culture strategy that aligns with the vision, goals and values.

    Talent Management

    • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, select and retain top talent.
    • Develop and implement talent strategies, including succession planning and leadership development.
    • Partner with department heads to address talent gaps and implement effective solutions.
    • Implement performance management processes, systems, materials, and training to facilitate high performance in the organization.

    Employee Engagements

    • Design and implement programs aimed at enhancing employee engagements, satisfaction and retention focusing on employee voice surveys and feedback mechanisms.
    • Support internal communication strategies that reinforce company culture and values.

    Learning & Development 

    • Identify organization wide learning needs and develop programs to foster continuous improvements and skills enhancement through training and development interventions programs.

    Organization culture 

    • Champion a culture of inclusion and belonging where respect and human dignity is cultivated.

    HR Policies & Compliance

    • Develop, implement and review HR policies and practices in line with legislation and industry best practices, ensuring fairness and equity in all processes.

    Employee Relations

    • Manage and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in compliance with labor laws.
    • Take proactive steps to prevent and address potential risks in employee relations, emphasizing a problem-solving approach.

    Data-Driven Decisions

    • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to track the effectiveness of people’s initiatives and data driven informed decisions within the organization

    Collaboration

    • Foster partnership across departments promotes a cohesive and aligned approach to talent and culture initiatives.

    Change Management.

    • Support organizational change processes by providing guidance and resources that help employees navigate transitions effectively 

    HR Administration

    • Ensure smooth payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS management
    • Budget control in terms of overtime, staff meals & PPES
    • Custodian of HR records both physical and online.

    Key Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management / Bachelor of Commerce (HRM) option or related field.
    • 6-7 years of experience in food processing/Manufacturing environment, at least 3 years in a senior role.
    • CHRP (K) Certification is a prerequisite.
    • Member in Good Standing of the Institute of Human Resources Management.
    • Deep understanding of labor laws, staying ahead of emerging HR legislation, precedents and HR best practices.
    • Training in food safety and quality management standards such as FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 is a plus.
