    JOB PURPOSE

    The HR Manager – Employee Relations & HR Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across employee relations, compliance, recruitment, performance management, and HR policy enforcement.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead Employee Relations (ER) strategies and oversee resolution of workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
    • Manage and offer leadership to the junior and support teams directly reporting to this position.
    • Oversee operational excellence in all the branches in the regions
    • Ensure full compliance with Kenyan labour laws and company policy in all HR operations.
    • Manage HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, contract management, payroll input, and leave administration.
    • Serve as lead advisor for disciplinary and appeal hearings, ensuring procedural fairness and legal compliance.
    • Standardize HR procedures across all deployment sites and provide site HR support where required.
    • Collaborate with Area Managers to ensure staffing and HR support meet client and operational needs.
    • Maintain an accurate HRIS and generate periodic HR reports.
    • Provide training on HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and employment law for managers and supervisors.
    • Promote employee wellness, staff engagement, and grievance redressal mechanisms.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field
    • Professional Qualification-Higher Diploma in HR or CHRP certification
    • Certified Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 6–8 years’ progressive experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role focused on ER.
    • Experience in the security, logistics, manufacturing, or labour intensive industry preferred.

    JOB PURPOSE

    The HR Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic HR initiatives focused on talent acquisition, learning and development (L&D), and employee engagement.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and Implement recruitment plans tailored to the needs of the organization
    • Oversee onboarding programs, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated and licensed where applicable.
    • Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development programs including security certifications, customer service, and supervisory training.
    • Implement talent development plans, including succession planning and performance improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee licensing and certifications (e.g., PSRA compliance).
    • Analyse HR metrics and provide monthly reports on staffing, training effectiveness, turnover, and engagement.
    • Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and private security industry regulations.
    • Manage internal employee communication on HR policy, benefits, and career development.
    • Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) across departments and coordinate periodic refresher courses.
    • Manage the performance management cycle and coach managers on performance conversations.
    • Champion employee recognition, wellness, and retention strategies.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or related field
    • Professional Qualification-Higher Diploma in HRM, CHRP-K, or equivalent
    • Valid IHRM Certification-Desirable

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 7 years HR experience, with at least 3 in talent and L&D in a service-oriented or security-related organization
