    To provide HR and Administrative support to the field locations of FH Kenya in the execution of HR policies, programs and Admin related activities. To provide administrative support to Marsabit Area program while supervising the admin staff.  The position supervises between 1-3 staff.

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty/function satisfactorily.

     A successful candidate will have the following: 

    • Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources.
    • At least four years of prior work experience in a fast-paced HR environment within an NGO, with familiarity in human resources procedures and practices.
    • Must be a registered member of IHRM with good standing.
    • Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP)
    • Vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ 
    • Excellent interpersonal relationship, report-writing skills and communications skills 
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Strong administrative, organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
    • Highly motivated, self-starter able to work on own initiative in difficult conditions 
    • Understanding of HR principles, best practices, and knowledge of labor laws & government regulations that concern workplaces and employment matters.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must 

     What you will do...   

     As the Talent and Culture Officer, your overall responsibilities will be: 

    • Supervision of execution of HR policies, procedures and programs
    • Managing the recruitment and onboarding process
    • Communication of HR related matters
    • Handling administrative duties and HR records management
    • Executing reception and administrative duties
    • Support any other HR initiatives and assignments as may be assigned by the Supervisor
