About Afro Bingo

Afro Bingo is Nairobi’s first and only in-person Bingo hall, offering an exciting, high-energy gaming experience. With a capacity of 200 players per session, Afro Bingo is looking to expand its brand presence, drive consistent foot traffic, and optimize its revenue model.

We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our growth efforts by developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that increases awareness, player engagement, and ticket sales.

Key Responsibilities#1. Strategic Marketing & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy to increase foot traffic and player retention.
  • Establish Afro Bingo as Nairobi’s leading social entertainment destination, differentiating it from traditional gambling establishments.
  • Create and maintain consistent brand messaging across all digital and offline platforms.

#2. Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Manage and grow Afro Bingo’s digital presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and a website).
  • Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, and TikTok promotions).
  • Oversee content creation, including engaging videos, influencer partnerships, and real-time game updates.
  • Track key social media metrics to assess engagement and ROI.

#3. Event Marketing & Offline Promotions

  • Organize and promote themed Bingo nights (e.g., Ladies’ Night, Speed Bingo, VIP High-Stakes Bingo).
  • Develop strategic partnerships with bars, lounges, and corporate organizations to bring in new audiences.
  • Oversee on-ground activations, promotions, and printed marketing materials.

#4. Customer Engagement & Loyalty Programs

  • Design and implement a player loyalty program to increase repeat visits.
  • Introduce bundled ticket packages and promotional discounts to drive higher spending per player.
  • Utilize WhatsApp, SMS marketing, and email campaigns for personalized customer engagement.

#5. Revenue Growth & Performance Analysis

  • Work closely with the operations team to optimize pricing models and increase revenue per game.
  • Analyze ticket sales data and marketing performance metrics to refine strategies.
  • Ensure that the marketing budget is allocated efficiently for maximum ROI.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years in marketing, brand management, or digital marketing, preferably in gaming, entertainment, hospitality, or nightlife industries.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, social media growth strategies, and influencer partnerships.

Skills:

  • Ability to develop and execute high-impact marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in running paid ad campaigns on social media & Google Ads.
  • Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking marketing performance & ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a lean team effectively.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working in the gaming, hospitality, or nightlife industry.
  • Understanding of player psychology and entertainment marketing.
  • Ability to think outside the box and create viral marketing strategies.
